White Teas

White teas are the rarest in the world, produced on a very limited scale in China and Sri Lanka. Traditionally plucked only at daybreak in four provinces of north east Fuijan, so that the buds are unopened.

Silver Needles white tea is made only from tender new buds that are covered in silver-white hairs. The leaves are picked only two days a year in the early spring and are processed entirely by hand.
