Green Dragon Oolong Tea
Smooth and aromatic this Taiwanese oolong is considered a “green" oolong or pouchong tea because it is less oxidized, 17%. The dried leaves are green almost pellet like and when brewed begin to unfurl revealing an exquisite, pale yellow liquor. The delicate flavor imparts a sweet, subtle floral tone.
This tea longs to be brewed several times and will eventually expose two leaves and a bud. While the appearance of the leaf changes with each infusion so does the taste character in your cup. As US tea drinkers are introduced to more of the less oxidized, greener oolongs, their popularity grows.
